es ist wieder Sonntag und ich habe wieder auf den letzten Drücker eine Karte für die Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. Genau genommen habe ich sogar drei Karten, die sich jedoch nur im Farbschema unterscheiden...
Bei der aktuellen Challenge geht es um die Technik Emboss Resist, und ich bin das Ganze etwas anders als sonst angegangen. Normalerweise greife ich dabei zu einem Ink Blending Tool und verteile Distress Inks über einen embossten Hintergrund. Doch ich wollte etwas für mich neues probieren. Ich habe einen Text weiß auf einem weißen Panel embosst und dann darüber gestempelt. Dabei haben mir als Inspiration für das Farbschema verschiedene Designpapierblöcke von Lawn Fawn gedient.
Für die türkisfarbene Karte habe ich Minty Fresh, Merman und Peacock benutzt, für die zweite Karte Blue Jay, Sunflower und Jade (SU) und für die dritte Sunflower, Bubblegum und Dried Marigold (Distress Ink). Jedoch hat die dunkle Blue Jay Tinte das Embossing Pulver verfärbt, darauf muss man also ein wenig achten. Ansonsten hat die Technik tadellos funktioniert. :) Ich hoffe, die Karten gefallen euch. ^^

It's time again for my card for the Lawn Fawnatics challenge. I actually made three cards this week just changing the colour scheme. For the emboss resist technique I usually use an ink blending tool to apply Distress Ink to an heat embossed background. But I wanted to try something different for this challenge. I white heat embossed a sentiment on a white card panel and stamped onto it. As inspiration for my colour schemes I used various Lawn Fawn paper packs. I picked the matching ink colours and repeatedly stamped the trees. For the first card I used Minty Fresh, Merman and Peacock, for the second card Blue Jay, Sunflower und Costal Cabana (SU) and for the third card Sunflower, Bubblegum und Dried Marigold (Distress Ink). I have to mention that the dark Blue Jay ink did stain my white embossed sentiment. So be careful when using dark die inks. Beside that, this technique worked out perfectly and I like the result. Hope you like my cards, too.  :)
