Mermaid for each other

Hallo zusammen,
Hi there,

The Lawn Fawnatics challenge is providing an inspiration board which you can find at the end of this post. I used a combination of several pictures for my card. My colour scheme derives from the melon and for the theme of my card I combined the heart and the ocean to create a wedding card.
I ink blended my background using a handmade wave stencil, spun sugar distress ink and white pigment ink. To keep my background settle, I added a layer of vellum. I die cut a big heart off my card front and adhered it to my background. I then cut a small heart (from Selfie Frames) from dark cardstock and used the negative piece to create a surprise for the recipient. I attached the dark cardstock piece in a way behind my background, that the heart will be in the upper middle of my big heart. At the exact same spot on the card base I adhered a white LED. The small heart will be visible when the LED lights up. Cool, hm?
I stamped and coloured my images for the card front and left a short note for the recipient to push onto the corals to reveal the secret heart. I altered the sentiment by replacing the "we" by "you", so that it will fit the wedding theme. Hope you like it.^^
